To ensure all monies for your employees can be allocated within the 2009/10 financial year, employers must submit all contributions, together with completed Contribution Schedule to the Fund by 30 June 2010.
A copy of Health Super's Contribution Schedule can be downloaded here under registered employers or unregistered employers.
Health Super has a range of payment options available for employers.
Employers are able to claim tax deductions for Superannuation Guarantee (SG) contributions made on behalf of their employees. This includes salary sacrifice contributions. Claims can be made in the year that the contributions have been paid.
When completing the Contributions Schedule please note:
- If an employee is not entitled to employer contributions write 'Nil' on the Contribution Schedule;
- Enter details of any new employees; and
- If applicable, record the termination date in the 'Terminations' column.
Tax File Numbers
Employers are required by law to pass the Tax File Number supplied by the employee on their Tax Declaration Form to the employee's super fund. Employers who do not comply with this will incur a financial penalty as determined by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
