Health Super Updates

Carols by Candlelight

Health Super was pleased to be the major sponsor of Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight ® Live Site event over the 2009 Christmas period raising vital money to help people who are blind or have low vision. The Live Site was held in Federation Square on 24 December with live entertainment and a big screen broadcasting the Carols by Candlelight event from the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Despite some heavy rain during the night, the event went on with great success. Families and friends gathered at Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Federation Square to enjoy the entertainment provided by performers such as:

  • Anthony Callea
  • Australia Girls Choir
  • Denis Walter
  • Guy Sebastian
  • Hi-5
  • Humphrey B Bear + Santa
  • Jersey Boys
  • John Foreman
  • Lorin Nicholson
  • Marina Prior
  • National Boys Choir of Australia
  • Ricki-Lee Coulter
  • Silvie Paladino
  • The Ten Tenors

All proceeds from the event go towards Vision Australia to support its vital services for the blind and vision impaired.

Health Super is looking forward to working with Vision Australia through 2010 and will be a sponsor of the Carols by Candlelight again next December.
