choose your payment methodYou can choose between five different payment methods to top up your Health Super account. Once you have decided what type of contribution you want to make, simply choose the payment option that suits you. Use this simple table to work out which payment method you can use for each type of contribution.
tip: If you earn less than $58,000 and make a personal (after-tax) contribution into your super account, the Government will match every dollar of your personal contribution with $1.50 and pay it into your super account, up to a maximum of $1,500. If you are a spouse member and wish to make a contribution, you can make a personal (after-tax) contribution into your own account and/or salary sacrifice (pre-tax) contributions into your own account. Remember, contributions to your spouse's account count towards your non-concessional contribution limit.
regular payroll deductionsThis option is perfect for people who find it hard to save money once it hits their bank account. Just nominate a $ or % amount of your after-tax (for personal contributions) or pre-tax (salary sacrifice) pay to go into your super and give this information to your HR or Payroll Officer. tips: Government Co-Contribution: Only after-tax payroll deductions received by Health Super from your employer before 30 June may qualify for a Government Co-Contribution in the current financial year. Payroll deductions received by Health Super after 30 June may count towards any Government Co-Contribution in the following financial year. Salary sacrifice: Check whether your employer allows salary sacrificing. Making contributions into your spouse’s account: You need to be working for a Health Super Registered Employer to make contributions into your spouse’s account. Ask your Human Resources (HR) or Payroll Manager if your organisation is registered.

cheque paymentsPay what you want, when you want. Simply send in a cheque made payable to Health Super Fund. Download and complete Health Super’s Top up my super form, attach your cheque and send these into Health Super:

Direct DebitNo cheque book? No problems! Health Super’s easy Direct Debit option lets you top up your super straight from your bank account. To get started, download and complete the direct debit application form. Make sure you carefully read the Client Services Agreement. Send your form to:
