how to find your lost super accounts
-
contact your former employers
Contact your former employers first. This is the quickest and easiest way to track down any lost super accounts. Your former employers should be able to provide details of your old super fund(s) and account(s).
-
use the ATO’s FREE SuperSeeker service to search for your lost accounts.
If you think you have other superannuation that you would like to consolidate but don’t know which fund it is with, try using the ATO’s SuperSeeker online service. SuperSeeker is a free service that searches for lost super. You’ll need to enter your tax file number, name and date of birth.
-
combine your lost super accounts
Once you’ve located your lost super funds, download the Request to transfer whole balance of superannuation benefits between funds so that you can transfer your found funds into your Health Super account. We will arrange the transfers at no cost to you.
tip: check with your other super funds about rolling your money out, as you may incur exit fees from your other super funds and may lose other benefits such as insurance cover.
